CHIN ENLARGEMENT

Chin enlargement is a non-surgical chin enhancement procedure that improves the balance and symmetry of your face.  As you grow older, you tend to lose bone mass from our chin resulting in wrinkling of skin and a receding jaw line. No matter what your age is, injectable fillers placed along the chin can add volume to the lower part of your face and create a robust, youthful appearance. You may be a candidate for chin enlargement if you have a small chin resulting in a “double chin” appearance, your face appears flat, and your upper lip appears to be protruding. Taking profile pictures will also help determine if you could benefit from chin enlargement.
Multiple injections of a very small quantity of dermal filler are administered into specific areas on your chin to aesthetically enhance the natural look of your face. You can leave immediately after the procedure to continue with activities of daily living.
Although the chin enlargement treatment is very safe, there is a minimal risk of bruising, tenderness, redness or swelling, which will usually resolve without any intervention. Sometimes, lumps may form under the skin due to accumulation of the filler in certain areas. This may be easily managed by light massaging or may eventually get reabsorbed into the skin.
The improvement in your facial features are immediate and depending on the type of dermal filler used, the effect may last between 1 to 2 years with touch-ups required every 3 to 6 months.
