JAWLINE FILLER

The Jawline Filler treatment can help both men and women to create a contoured jawline that frames the face to obtain a more masculine or feminine jawline, respectively.

While some people are born with a jawline they are not happy with, in most cases, the jawline appearance is affected by the ageing process, As the skin loses elasticity and begins to sag, the jawline starts to appear soft and lacking definition.

Dermal fillers are used to fill in the lines, add volume where it has been lost, create a lifting effect, and camouflage the look of jowls with strategically placed filler.

When it comes to using jawline fillers to correct the signs of ageing, dermal fillers are useful to also help restore collagen and elastin, two substances responsible for maintaining a youthful volume and the skin’s ability to bounce back. This will result in the jawline area appearing both tighter and lifted.

BENEFITS OF JAWLINE FILLER:

  • Strategically placed jawline fillers add volume and create a lifting effect.

  • Fill in lines and camouflage jowls.

  • Restores the face balance, correct asymmetry, and improves a double chin.

HOW DOES JAWLINE FILLER TREATMENT WORK?

The application of jawline fillers is administered through a series of small injections in multiple sites along the mandible. These are typically not painful, although some people may experience mild levels of discomfort as you would with any injection or a prick to the skin. If this is the case, a numbing topical cream can be applied to help reduce sensation in the jaw.

WHO IS JAWLINE FILLER TREATMENT FOR?

This treatment is popular in men, who feel their face is too slim or too oval and want to have a more chiselled profile. Women who find that ageing has caused them to lose definition and want to restore a more youthful look with an upward lift of the jowls also benefit a lot from this procedure.

Contouring a man’s jaw using fillers involves creating angles and straight lines to enhance the patient’s bone structure, whereas for a woman it means creating more gentle, feminine curves.
