DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IN-CLINIC MICRONEEDLING & AT HOME DERMAROLLING KITS? 

At-home dermarolling kits, which only use needles <0.5mm, can be useful for helping topical products and serums to penetrate the skin more deeply, however they do not produce the collagen boosting effects of in-clinic treatments. Medical grade needles of  >0.5mm are required for the full benefits of Microneedling. Microneedling with needles longer than 0.5mm should only ever be carried out by a trained medical professional.
